Iocharger Expands Its High-Power Charging Portfolio with New Satellite and Megawatt Charging Solutions

Satellite and Megawatt Charging Solutions

As the global transition to commercial vehicle electrification continues to accelerate, charging infrastructure is evolving toward higher power levels, greater operational flexibility, and improved asset utilization. Earlier this year, Iocharger expanded its DC fast charging portfolio with the introduction of two advanced charging platforms designed for commercial and heavy-duty applications: the Satellite DC Charging System (480kW-960kW) and the 1600kW Megawatt Charging System.

Designed for fleet depots, logistics centers, public charging hubs, ports, and industrial transportation applications, both platforms are built on a common intelligent charging architecture featuring dynamic power distribution, smart energy management, remote diagnostics, OTA software updates, and support for OCPP 1.6J, OCPP 2.0.1, and ISO 15118 standards.

Together, these solutions provide operators with a scalable charging infrastructure capable of meeting today’s fleet charging requirements while supporting future high-power charging demands.

Flexible Satellite Charging for Fleet Operations

The Satellite DC Charging System combines a centralized power cabinet with distributed charging dispensers, enabling operators to maximize charger utilization while minimizing installation footprint.

Available in configurations ranging from 480kW to 960kW, the platform supports multiple charging standards, including CCS, CHAdeMO, and GB/T. To accommodate different site layouts and vehicle requirements, the system can be paired with a broad portfolio of charging dispensers, including air-cooling dispensers, liquid-cooling dispensers, wall-mounted dispensers, and dual air-cooling dispensers.

Dynamic power allocation enables multiple charging points to share available power intelligently, ensuring optimal utilization across connected vehicles while improving overall site efficiency. By allowing multiple charging bays to share a centralized power platform, the system helps reduce infrastructure investment and provides greater flexibility for future expansion.

Its modular architecture enables operators to scale charging capacity as fleet electrification progresses, providing a future-ready upgrade path without requiring complete system replacement.

1600kW Megawatt Charging System for Heavy-Duty Transport

For applications requiring ultra-high-power charging capability, Iocharger also introduced its latest 1600kW Megawatt Charging System.

Developed for electric truck corridors, large-scale fleet depots, mining operations, ports, and other high-demand transportation applications, the system delivers up to 1600kW of total output power. It supports up to 20 charging dispensers from a single power platform.

The platform supports both 400A air-cooling charging and up to 1000A liquid-cooling charging. To meet the evolving requirements of heavy-duty vehicle electrification, it offers flexible terminal configurations including CCS dispensers, MCS dispensers, and combined MCS + CCS dispensers, enabling operators to support both current and future charging standards in a single deployment.

A key advantage of the platform is its high-density integrated architecture, which combines power conversion, control systems, and intelligent energy management into a compact solution optimized for large-scale charging operations. This design helps maximize charging capacity while reducing installation complexity and site footprint.

To ensure long-term reliability in demanding environments, the system utilizes IP65 independent air-duct cooling power modules that effectively isolate sensitive power electronics from dust, humidity, salt spray, and other environmental contaminants.

Supporting the Next Phase of Fleet Electrification

As charging requirements for commercial vehicles continue to increase, operators are looking for infrastructure solutions that balance charging performance, operational flexibility, and long-term scalability.

With the introduction of the Satellite DC Charging System and the 1600kW Megawatt Charging System, Iocharger continues to strengthen its position in the high-power charging market, helping fleet operators build efficient and future-ready charging networks.

These two platforms reflect Iocharger’s ongoing commitment to delivering scalable charging technologies that support both today’s commercial EV fleets and the next generation of high-power electric transportation.
