New regulations requires new homes and buildings install EV charging points in England

Most new homes and buildings in England will be required to install EV charging points from Wednesday 15 June. According to changes in building regulations, any new building development with associated parking spaces must be able to use EV charging points.
Implementation of the new regulations will see an increase of 145,000 charging point per year. Any building that undergoes extensive renovations with more than 10 parking spaces will be required to install EV charging points.
The new regulations also reveal further plans to install 300,000 EV charging points by 2030.
